Top-ranked West High Returns to Final 4 With Win Over No. 2 CR Washington

The top-ranked West High boys tennis team advanced to the Class 2a state semifinals with a pair of wins on Saturday in Cedar Rapids.
West High defeated Ankeny 5-0 in the substate final at Coe College and knocked off second-ranked Cedar Rapids Washington 5-1 in the 2A state quarterfinals.
The Trojans will seek their second straight state title on May 30 at Prairie Ridge Tennis Complex in Ankeny.
