Four different players had goals as Class 1A third-ranked Regina improved to 10-5 with a 7-0 win over No. 11 Burlington Notre Dame on Thursday in Iowa City.

Nick Pechous had three goals and Nate Green added two as Regina won for the second time in its last five matches.

Tony Huang and Kieler Brown each added a goal for Regina which had lost three of four all to larger school competition.

Burlington Notre Dame dropped to 12-6 with the loss.

Clippers Cruise in Regular Season Finale

So much for any offensive struggles.

Clear Creek Amana won its second straight match with a 7-0 victory at Monticello on Thursday and has scored 16 goals in its back-to-back wins.

Wyatt Sedlacek had a pair of goals on Thursday, giving him five on the week as the Clippers wrapped up the regular season with lopsided wins over Anamosa on Tuesday and Monticello.  

Pau Alberich, Jackson Pettinger, Christian Romero, Seth Mass and Mitch Evans all added a goal for Clear Creek Amana as the Clippers improved to 10-6 on the season.
