Ted Bridges placed fifth to help West Branch to a third-place team finish at the 11-team West Liberty Invitational on Tuesday at the West Liberty Country Club.

Bridges was one of five golfers to break 80 on Tuesday, carding a seven-over-par 79.

Trevor Thein and Mitchell Knoop each shot a 92 for West Branch and Brady Lukavsky fired a 93 as the Bears finished with a 356.

Central DeWitt won the team title with a 320 while Wilton was second with a 335.

Freshman Brandon McCarty placed sixth with an 80 to lead Clear Creek Amana to an eighth-place finish with a team score of 372.

Regina was 10th with a 388 and was led by Mark Schomer who shot a 93 while Noah Felderman carded a 94.
