City High was fourth and Liberty High was sixth in the final Class 4A rankings of the season released on Monday by the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association.

The Little Hawks have won six of their last seven games including a doubleheader sweep of Liberty High on Thursday in Iowa City.

City High (26-8) closes the regular season with a doubleheader at Western Dubuque on Monday and hosts North Scott on Tuesday.

Liberty High (26-9) closes the regular season by hosting Waterloo West in a doubleheader on Monday before single games against Solon at Marion on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Pleasant Valley remained the top-ranked team in Class 4A in the final rankings followed by Sioux City East and Johnston.

Dubuque Wahlert is the top-ranked team in Class 3A followed by Pella, Marion, Ballard and Benton Community in the top five.
