Callie Stanley and Rilyn Breinholt played critical roles in helping Liberty High to one of the best seasons in program history this spring.

On Monday the Lightning duo continued to rake in the postseason awards for their impressive production.

Breinholt and Stanley were each named to the Class 3A all-state team by the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association when the organization released its postseason honors on Monday.

A junior forward, Stanley was named to the 3A second team after posting 13 goals and leading the Lightning with 16 assists.

Breinholt was an honorable mention pick in Class 3A following an impressive senior season in which she fourth in 3A with 29 goals.

Breinholt led Liberty High with 69 points, adding 11 assists on the season while helping the Lightning to a 14-2-2 record and a spot in a 3A regional title game.

West High had a pair of all-state honorees as senior Paz Martinez was named to the 3A second team and freshman Sofia Fuentes earned honorable mention honors.

Martinez had four goals and five assists while helping the Trojans to an 8-7-2 record.

Fuentes led the Trojans in goals (16), assists (7) and points (39) during an impressive debut season.

Clear Creek Amana senior defender Cadence Hochstein was an honorable mention selection in Class 2A.

Hochstein had a goal and was a key piece of the defensive back line for a Clear Creek Amana team that went 6-10-1.

Solon seniors Elena Swan and Silvie Hendricks were each honorable mention selections in Class 1A.

Swan had six goals and added three assists while Hendricks had four goals and an assist to help the Spartans to a 11-7-2 record that included a trip to a Class 1A regional final.
