Regina Graduate Naeve Commits to Iowa

Jackson Naeve is headed home.
The Regina graduate and Iowa Western Community College received announced his commitment to Iowa on Friday with a post on social media.
“Excited to announce my commitment to the University of Iowa,” Naeve wrote on X. “Thank you to all my family, coaches and teammates who helped me earn this opportunity.”
In his final prep season in 2023 Naeve emerged as one of the top pass catchers in the state.
Naeve earned first-team Class 1A all-state honors after ranking in the top 11 in 1A in receptions, receiving yards, receiving touchdowns and yards per reception.
Naeve has 41 receptions for 848 yards and 11 touchdowns as a senior and also rushed for 344 yards and eight touchdowns.
A playmaker across the field for the Regals throughout his career, Naeve threw a touchdown pass, had a team-high five interceptions and averaged 29.3 yards per kick off return while returning two kicks and a punt for a score as a senior.
In his first season at Iowa Western the 6-foot-1, 195-pound Naeve caught six passes for 86 yards and a touchdown while helping the Reivers to an 11-2 record and a NJCAA national runner-up finish.
Naeve also returned four kick offs and four punts for Iowa Western last fall.
