Regina Junior Holden Names RVC Player of the Year

Regina wrapped up an unbeaten conference season and River Valley Conference title earlier this month.
On Tuesday the Regals were rewarded for their regular season success.
Regina had seven players earn all-conference honors highlighted by junior Laird Holden who was named River Valley Conference player of the year when the league released its preseason awards.
Holden was named RVC player of the year after leading Regina in goals, assists and points while helping the Regals to a 12-2-3 record including a 9-0-1 mark in conference play.
Holden scored 26 goals and added 17 assists on his way to first-team all-conference honors.
Juniors Evan White and Drew Greve joined Holden on the all-conference first team.
White ranked second on the team with 24 goals and 11 assists while Greve scored a goal and added three assists.
Senior Matt Colony, junior Ethan Beard and freshman Evan Greve all earned second-team all-conference honors.
Colony ranked third on the team with 11 goals and had eight assists while Beard had four goals and two assists.
Evan Greve had three goals and two assists on his way to earning second-team honors in his first varsity season.
Regina freshman Connor Hoffman earned honorable mention honors after scoring nine goals and adding 11 assists.
West Branch had four players named to the all-conference team.
Senior Timmy Hosier earned first-team all-conference honors while senior Tate Frantz and junior Reese Gingerich were both honorable mention selections.
Hosier had a goal and added three assists while Frantz scored four goals and tied for the team lead with six assists.
Gingerich led the team with 16 goals and added six assists.
Senior Jarrett Ellyson earned honorable mention all-conference honor safter posting 14 goals and three assists.
