Regina and West Branch Put Players on River Valley Conference Girls Soccer First Team

Regina and West Branch each had players named to the River Valley Conference girls soccer team when the league released its posts awards this week.
Seniors Morgan Miller and Ava Wiltgen headlined five Regina players to earn all-conference honors each being selected to the first team.
Miller scored a team-high 13 goals and led Regina with five assists while helping the Regals to a 11-4-3 record including a 6-2-1 mark in RVC play.
Wiltgen scored two goals and added an assist for the Regals on her way to earning first-team all-conference honors.
Seniors Natalie Gahan and Ella McLaughlin were each named to the second team for Regina.
Gahan ranked second on the team with six goals and four assists on her way to earning second-team honors.
McLaughlin started 17 matches for Regina and was key in the Regals holding opponents to 22 total goals and posting eight shutouts in 18 matches.
Senior Ali Brandt was earned honorable mention honors for Regina after scoring three goals and adding two assists.
West Branch sophomore Grace Hamann earned first-team all-RVC honors following a breakthrough season in which she led the Bears and ranked third in the RVC with 22 goals.
Hamann added two assists while helping West Branch to a 6-10-3 record including a 4-5-1 conference mark.
West Branch sophomore Chloe Albrecht earned second-team all-RVC honors while junior Dani Crutchley was an honorable mention pick.
