Solon had three golfers finish in the top 10 on its way to a runner-up team finish at the 12-team Oskaloosa Invitational on Thursday at Edmundson Golf Course in Oskaloosa.

Sydney Dee shot an 82 to finish third overall as Solon shot a 342 as a team to finish eight strokes behind team champion Norwalk.

Pella was third with a 352 followed by Centerville with a 367 and Ottumwa with a 386.

Emma Phelps shot an 83 to place fourth for the Spartans while Izzy Frees fired an 87 and placed ninth for Solon.

Jaya Farlinger shot 90 and Macy Fuller shot a 92 for the Spartans.
