Liberty High held its spot at 10th in the second girls soccer rankings of the season released on Wednesday by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.

Liberty High was 10th in the Class 3A rankings for the second consecutive week after posting back-to-back wins over Central DeWitt and Mount Vernon.

West High dropped out of the rankings after opening the season at No. 12 in Class 3A.

Top-ranked teams in the first rankings of the season are Ankeny in Class 3A, Waverly-Shell Rock in Class 2A and Denver in Class 1A.
