Boys Track and Field Roundup: Prince Wins Discus to Lead Clear Creek Amana at Williamsburg Invite

Landon Prince won an individual title in the discus to lead Clear Creek Amana to a seventh-place finish at the 15-team Williamsburg Invitational on Tuesday in Williamsburg.
Prince won the discus with a season-best toss of 182-2 which is the best in the state this spring.
Clear Creek Amana also got a third-place finish from Tay Seals in the 100 in a time of 11.41 and finished third in the 4×200 relay while finishing with 49 points.
Cedar Rapids Prairie won the team title with 160 points followed by Center Point-Urbana with 65 and Mid-Prairie with 62.
Solon was 12th with 27 points while Regina finished 13th with 25 points.
Kaden Hoeper finished third in the high jump clearing 6-0 for Solon while Eli Kampman was third in the 400 in 52.4.
Edwin Gangba led Regina with a third-place finish int eh 200 in 23.38.
