Regina Sophomore Litton Named RVC South Division Player of the Year

Regina locked up the River Valley Conference South Division title last season.
On Tuesday the Regals were rewarded for their regular season performance.
Sophomore Will Litton was named RVC South Division player of the year to highlight a list of four Regals that were honored by the conference when it released it postseason awards.
Litton joined fellow sophomore Tate Wallace as a unanimous South Division first team selection after helping the Regals to an 18-3 regular season record including an 11-1 mark against RVC South Division teams.
Litton led Regina in both points and rebounds, averaging 17.6 points and 9.1 rebounds per game while shooting 62 percent from the floor.
Wallace averaged 16.1 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game on his way to earning first team RVC honors.
Junior guard Drew Greve was named to the RVC South Division second team after averaging 9.6 points 5.5 rebounds and a team-high 6.2 assists per game.
Senior guard Connor Nicpon was an honorable mention selection in the South Division.
Regina coach Paul Rundquist was named South Division coach of the year after guiding the Regals to an outright South Division title.
West Branch had three players earn all-division honors led by junior guard Jayden Harris who was a unanimous first-team pick.
Harris averaged 19.4 points, 2.6 assists and 2.5 rebounds per game while helping the Bears to a 10-12 record.
Junior Brandon Pedersen was named to the RVC South Division second team after averaging 10 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game.
Senior Brandon Pickett earned honorable mention honors in the South Division.
