Class 5A eighth-ranked Liberty High fell to Cedar Rapids Kennedy 77-71 on Friday in the regular season finale for both teams in Cedar Rapids.

The loss was the second straight for Liberty High and dropped the Lightning to 15-6 on the season while Cedar Rapids Kennedy improved to 10-11 with the win.

Natalie Ramsey led Liberty High with 28 points and eight rebounds and Madeline Casey had 13 points, four assists and three rebounds.

Janessa Mosley added seven points while Kennedy Goodheart and Natalie Schechinger each had six points for the Lightning.
