Class 5A No. 10 Liberty High downed 5A eighth-ranked Waukee 63-55 on Saturday in a non-conference contest in Waukee to cap an impressive four-win week.

The win was the third over a ranked team in six days for Liberty High and sixth straight and improved the Lightning to 13-3 on the season.

Madeline Casey had 24 points, eight rebounds, four assists and two steals to lead Liberty High.

Natalie Ramsey had 20 points, 11 rebounds and three steals and Ava Casey added eight points, five assists and three rebounds.

Madilyn Meyer had six points and three rebounds, Janessa Mosley had five points, five rebounds and three assists and Natalie Schechinger had five rebounds and four assists for Liberty High.
