Class 5A ninth-ranked West High bounced back from a loss to Cedar Rapids Prairie last week with a 64-43 win over Waterloo West on Tuesday in a Mississippi Valley Conference cross-divisional contest in Iowa City.

West High improved to 10-5 with the win while Waterloo West dropped to 5-8 with its fourth loss in a row.

Abby Neumiller led four West High players in double figures with 14 points and had five rebounds.

Grace Fincham had a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds and also had six assists while Kate Van Waning had a double-double with 13 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.

Sasha Baldwin had 13 points, four rebounds and two assists and Elle Barnett had seven points and two assists.

Lauryn Hynek added four points and four rebounds for the Trojans.
