Clear Creek Amana Senior Sorensen Commits to Northwest Missouri State

Isaac Sorensen enjoyed a breakthrough cross country season last fall and is seeking to close his prep career with a stellar track season this spring.
In between Sorensen made a decision on his future.
The Clear Creek Amana standout announced his commitment to continue his running career at Northwest Missouri State on Tuesday with a post on social media.
Sorensen enjoyed a breakthrough cross country season last fall when he finished in the top 10 at both the WAMAC Conference and Class 3A state qualifying meets.
He finished ninth at the WAMAC Meet and led Clear Creek Amana with a seventh-place finish at the Class 3A state qualifier.
A three-time state qualifier, Sorensen finished 84th at the 3A state meet.
Sorensen enters his senior track season this spring coming off a junior season that ended with three medals at the 3A state meet.
A four-event qualifier, Sorensen anchored the Clipper distance medley relay team to a fifth-place finish and helped the Clear Creek Amana 4×800 team to a sixth-place finish.
Sorensen also finished fifth in the 800 in a time of 1:56.16.
