Boys Basketball Roundup: West Branch Downs Wilton For Second Straight Win

West Branch is starting to heat up.
The Bears put up a season-high in points while posting back-to-back wins for the first time this season on Tuesday with a 78-61 win over Wilton in a River Valley Conference South Division contest in Wilton.
West Branch improved to 4-8 on the season and 2-3 in RVC South Division play while Wilton dropped to 1-9 and 1-4 in RVC South games.
Four Bears scored in double figures on Tuesday led by junior Jayden Harris with a game-high 21 points.
Lincoln Naber had 16 points and seven rebounds and Brandon Pedersen had 15 points, six rebounds and four steals for West Branch.
Nathan Hills had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds and added three assists as West Branch shot 51 percent from the floor.
Brandon Pickett had nine points and eight rebounds and Brennen Dale had five rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Oaklan Jirak had 20 points, six rebounds and five assists for Wilton and Quincy Sawvell and Gunner Edwards each had 10 points for the Beavers.
