Class 5A No. 10 Liberty High bounced back from a loss to Cedar Rapids Prairie last Friday with a 71-45 win over Western Dubuque on Tuesday in a Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Division contest in North Liberty.

Liberty High improved to 8-3 on the season with the win while Western Dubuque dropped to 1-11.

Natalie Ramsey led the Lightning with 26 points and eight rebounds while Madeline Casey added 12 points, three rebounds and three assists.

Ava Casey had 10 points and three assists and Natalie Shechinger had five points, five rebounds and five assists.

Madilyn Meyer had seven points and four rebounds, Sydney Van Heukelom had six points and four rebounds and Janessa Mosley had four points, four assists and three rebounds for the Lightning.
