West Branch snapped an eight-game losing streak with a 55-23 win over Burlington Notre Dame on Thursday in a non-conference contest in Burlington.

The Bears improved to 2-8 on the season with the win while Burlington Notre Dame dropped to 2-8.

Ava Burnett led West Branch with 15 points, seven rebounds and six assists while Kennedy Simpson added 14 points and three assists for the Bears.

Alyssa Pierce had nine points and four rebounds and Addi Schultes had eight points, six rebounds, four steals and three assists.

Lexi Skay had four points and eight rebounds, Jenie Gomez had five rebounds and two assists and Sulli Bucknell had four rebounds and two assists.
