West High senior Moustafa Tiea secured a fourth consecutive state meet appearance on Wednesday with a sixth-place finish at the Class 4A state qualifying meet.

Tiea finished sixth in 16:17.1 to earn a spot at the Class 4A state meet in Fort Dodge scheduled for November 1.

Sophomore Michal Hanna will join Tiea at the state meet as an individual qualifier after finishing 12^th in a time of 16:47.7 on Wednesday at the Southeast Polk Cross Country Course.

Ankeny won the team title with 48 points followed by Indianola with 69 and Johnston with 78.

West High was fourth with 106 points.

Sam Showers finished 22^nd in a time of 17;13 and Jake Weilar was 29^th in 17:27.9 for the Trojans.
