Girls Cross Country Roundup: Barker Leads Clear Creek Amana to Runner-up Finish at Jim Hetrick Invite

Kira Barker finished 11th to lead four Clear Creek Amana runners in the top 30 as the Clippers finished runner-up at the Jim Hetrick Invitational on Thursday at Grace Lutheran Bible Camp in DeWitt.
Class 4A No. 15 Davenport Central won the team title with 62 points while 3A No. 17 Clear Creek Amana was runner-up with 88 points and Bettendorf was third with 90.
Barker led the Clippers placing 11th in a time of 20:24.8 while Raegan Wyant was 20th in 20:54.3 and Kadence Whitmer was 22nd in 21:01.1.
Sara Kinzenbaw placed 29th in 21:36.7 and Kelsey Leathers was 38th in 22:00.2 for the Clippers.
