Your Prep Sports Area Alumni Report: Liberty High Graduate Hested Breaks School Record, Sets Career Milestone in Big Week

Hailey Hested
Former Liberty High standout and current Mount Mercy senior setter Hailey Hested set several career milestones last week.
Hested broke the Mount Mercy school record for assists in a three-set match with 46 assists in a sweep of Clarke on October 1.
She added an ace serve and 12 digs in the sweep of Clarke while breaking the three-set assist mark that had stood since 2013.
In a five-set loss to William Penn on Saturday Hested had 54 assists and surpassed the 1,000 dig mark for her career with 24 digs in the match.
On the season Hested has 940 assists, 286 digs and 16 ace serves while helping the Mustangs to a 10-12 record.
TJ Bollers
Cler Creek Amana graduate ad current California junior defensive end TJ Bollers had a strong game on Saturday against Miami.
Bollers had three tackles including a tackle for loss and two quarterback hurries in a 39-38 loss to the Hurricanes in Berkeley, California.
On the season the 6-foot-2, 290-pound Bollers has nine tackles, including four solo stops and 2.5 tackles for loss with a sack.
Bollers also has broken up two passes and ranks third on the team with three quarterback hurries.
Cassidy Hartman
Former Liberty High all-stater and current Northern Iowa sophomore Cassidy Hartman had a team-high 11 kills to lead the Panthers to a sweep of Illinois-Chicago on Saturday in Chicago, Illinois.
Hartman added four digs and a block in the win as Northern Iowa improved to 9-7 on the season and 4-0 in Missouri Valley Conference play.
On the season Hartman ranks second on the team with 202 kills on .211 hitting and has 117 digs and 20 blocks.
