Liberty High Second, City High Ninth In Initial Class 5A RPI Ratings

With three weeks remaining in the football regular season the postseason is within sight.
Teams across the state got their first look at the playoff picture on Monday when the Iowa High School Athletic Association released the first ratings percentage index ratings of the season for the largest three classes.
Liberty High (5-1) is second in the Class 5A RPI which is used to determine all 16 playoff qualifiers in 5A.
City High (4-2) is ninth in the 5A RPI while West High (3-3) is 18th in Class 5A.
Clear Creek Amana (4-2) is 10th in the Class 4A RPI which is used to determine four at-large qualifiers that are not district winners or district runner-up finishers.
Solon (5-1) is seventh in the Class 3A RPI.
Regina (6-0) remained second in the IHSAA Class 1A rankings for the second straight week.
