Kate Van Waning finished 11^th to lead West High to an eighth-place team finish at the Cedar Rapids Invitational on Thursday at Seminole Valley Park in Cedar Rapids.

Class 4A third-ranked Ankeny Centennial won the team title with 35 points followed by 3A second-ranked Mount Vernon-Lisbon with 119 points and 4A No. 15 Cedar Rapids Prairie with 132.

Class 4A No. 20 West High finished with 226 points.

Van Waning finished 11^th in a time of 19:56 while teammate Kalli Titus was 35^th in a time of 21:29.1.

Susanna Olson finished 49^th in 21:56.2 and Mia Ahn was 52^nd in 22:05.
