Six Your Prep Sports area teams appeared in the preseason girls cross country rankings released by the Iowa Association of Track Coaches this week highlighted by a trio of top-10 ranked teams.

Solon, City High and Regina will all open the season ranking in the top 10 in their respective classes while Liberty High, West High and Clear Creek Amana will all be ranked when they run their first race.

City High is No. 10 in the preseason Class 4A rankings while West High is 18^th and Liberty High is 19^th.

Solon is fifth in the Class 3A rankings while Clear Creek Amana is No. 13 in Class 3A.

Regina is eighth in the Class 1A rankings.

City High junior Abigail Burns is ranked 28^th in the preseason Class 4A individual rankings and Solon senior Sydney Dee is 19^th in 3A individual rankings.
