One of the best infielders in Class 3A wasted no time making a decision on his baseball future.
Clear Creek Amana junior shortstop Ty Fuller announced his commitment to Junior College power Southeastern Community College on Friday with a post on social media.
“Committed,” Fuller wrote on X. “Grateful for all coaches, family, and friends. Go Blackhawks.”
Fuller is coming off a season in which he earned first-team all-state honors after helping the Clippers to a 23-16 record and a spot in a Class 3A substate final.
A unanimous all-WAMAC West Division selection, Fuller hit .445 with 17 extra-base hits, 40 runs and 30 RBI during a breakthrough junior season.
Fuller posted a .486 on-base and .578 slugging percentage as a junior and stole eight bases.
Southeastern Community College was 43-19 last season and advanced to the NJCAA Division II National Tournament for the second consecutive season.
