Regina and West Branch Have Players Named to RVC South Division Baseball Team

Regina and West Branch both had players named to the River Valley Conference South Division baseball team when the conference released its postseason honors earlier this week.
Seven Regina players earned all-South Division honors highlighted by four first-team selections while West Branch had four players earn all-division honors.
Regina seniors Drew Streb and Jack Clark and juniors Alex Paul and Connor Nicpon were all named to the South Division first team.
Streb was a first-team selection as an infielder after the first baseman hit .356 and led Regina in extra-base hits (11) and RBI (29) while scoring 24 runs and posting a .455 on-base and .481 slugging percentage.
Clark earned first-team honors as a catcher following a senior season in which he batted a team-high .370 with nine extra-base hits, 33 walks, 26 runs scored and 16 RBI.
Paul was a first-team pick as an outfielder and Nicpon was a utility pick on the South Division first team.
Nicpon batted .296, scored 27 runs and drove in 23 runs while also posting a 4-2 record and 2.98 ERA while striking out 44 in a team-high 42 1/3 innings.
Paul led the Regals in runs with 42 and stolen bases with 25 while batting .327 with nine extra-base hits and 13 RBI.
Freshman Will Litton and Trey Streb each landed on the South Division second team.
Litton was 2-1 with a 2.31 ERA with 53 strikeouts in 42 1/3 innings on the mound and also batted .256 with 16 RBI.
Trey Streb hit .271 with 13 runs scored and 16 RBI on his way to earning second-team honors as an outfielder.
Senior Colin Baker earned honorable mention honors for Regina.
West Branch seniors Reese Trepanier, Max Lodge and Drew Wilcox were all second-team South Division selections.
Trepanier was named to the South Division second team as an infielder after leading West Branch with a .361 batting average and 30 hits.
The senior shortstop scored 21 runs and drove in 26 runs.
Lodge was also a second-team pick as an infielder after hitting .310 with a team-high nine extra Wilcox was a second-team utility selection after he hit .288 with 10 runs scored and 19 RBI while also posting a 3-3 record and 3.88 ERA while striking out 64 in a team-high 48 2/3 innings pitched.
West Branch junior Ian Nelson was an honorable mention selection.
