Softball Roundup: Solon Splits WAMAC Doubleheader With West Delaware

Solon split a WAMAC East Division doubleheader with West Delaware on Monday in Solon winning the opener 6-5 and dropping the nightcap 8-5.
The Spartans moved to 13-8 on the season with the doubleheader split while West Delaware is now 14-15.
Kendall Jensen earned the win in game one allowing five runs on eight hits while striking out five and walking four.
Jensen also doubled and scored a run in the win.
Addie Miller went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI while Izzy Frees had two hits and scored a run and Bailey Woolley had a hit and drove in two runs.
West Delaware used a six-run fifth inning to take the lead in the nightcap.
Miller was 2-for-3 with a double and Keegan Kleppe was 2-for-2 for Solon.
Jensen had a hit, drove in a run and scored twice and Frees and Liv Nelson each had a hit and scored a run for Solon.
