Softball Roundup: Clear Creek Amana Sweeps West Delaware

Class 4A No. 15 Clear Creek Amana swept West Delaware in a WAMAC cross-divisional doubleheader on Monday in Oxford winning the opener 7-2 and taking the nightcap 8-1.
Clear Creek Amana improved to 5-3 with the sweep while West Delaware dropped to 1-7.
Lizzie Pasbrig and Kyla Schulte both homered in the opener as Clear Creek Amana scored seven unanswered runs to overcome an early two-run deficit.
Reese Stockman had a hit and scored a run while Addesyn Campbell had a hit and drove in a run in game one.
McKenna Kelley pitched three scoreless innings to earn the win while Elizabeth Timmerman struck out two in two scoreless innings.
Aeslyn Massey, Sadie Hebl and Schulte all had two hits for the Clippers in the nightcap.
Schulte went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double and six RBI in game two while Massey was 2-for-4 with three runs scored.
Stockman scored two runs and Brenna Williams had a hit and scored a run.
Schulte pitched three scoreless innings striking out two and Timmerman struck out four in 2 2/3 innings.
