For the second consecutive season Solon used a team effort to win the WAMAC Conference Super Meet.
Solon had three players finish in the top 10 on Monday while winning claiming its second straight WAMAC Super Meet title at Gardner Golf Course in Marion.
“Going in, we knew we could put together a good team score,” Solon coach Curtis Hendrickson said. “We had a couple of our normal varsity players who were out due to a college class conflict. We had two sophomores step into the lineup and they did an excellent job. Both have had some varsity experience from earlier this season, so that really paid off today.”

Benton Community was third with a 383 and Clear Creek Amana finished fourth with a 387.
Emma Phelps fired a 94 to finish in eighth place for Solon and Peyton Pentico was 10th with a 95.
The Spartans had all six golfers shoot 99 or better on Monday as Rylie Greazel and Bailey Woolley each shot a 98.
