Boys Golf Roundup: Zoske, Solon Win Titles at WAMAC Super Meet

Isaiah Zoske shot a one-under-par 69 to earn medalist honors as Solon claimed the team title at the WAMAC Super Meet on Monday at Wildcat Golf Course in Shellsburg.
Zoske shot a bogey-free 34 on the back nine on his way to winning the individual title as Solon shot a 304 as a team to finish six strokes in front of runner-up West Delaware.
Marion was third with a 312 followed by Williamsburg with a 313 and host Vinton-Shellsburg with a 317.
Clear Creek Amana was ninth with a 326.
Jack McCarty shot a three-over-par 73 to finish in sixth place and Brennan Heesch shot a 78 to finish 15th for the Spartans.
Nick Stahle shot an 84 and Jack Irwin a 92 for Solon.
Carson Fox and Andrew Rotzoll each shot 79 to lead Clear Creek Amana while Logan DeKoter and Carson Nash each shot an 84 for the Clippers.
