Solon finished third at the Pella Invite on Thursday at Bos Landen Golf Course in Pella.

Isaiah Zoske and Jack McCarty each posted top-10 finishes as the Spartans shot a 323 to finish four shots behind winner Pella.

Pella Christian was runner-up with a 320 followed by Solon with a 323 and Knoxville with a 324.

Zoske shot a three-over-par 75 to finish fourth to lead Solon while McCarty shot a 79 to place ninth overall.

Nolan Seagren carded an 84 and Gehrig Turner shot an 85 for the Spartans.

Knoxville’s Evan Smith shot a three-under-par 69 to earn individual medalist honors and Pella’s Cade McGinley shot a 73 to finish runner-up.
