DES MOINES, Iowa – Solon tipped off the state tournament with a 58-47 victory against Dubuque Wahlert Tuesday here at Wells Fargo Arena. The Spartans advanced to Thursday’s Class 3A semifinals, where they will face Des Moines Christian.
