Ramsey, Fincham, Palmer All Earn Mississippi Valley Conference First-team All-Division Honors

Liberty High, City High and West High all had players earn first-team all-division honors on Wednesday when the Mississippi Valley Conference released its postseason girls basketball honors.
West High sophomore Grace Fincham and Liberty High sophomore Natalie Ramsey each earned first-team all-division honors for the first time while City High junior August Palmer was named to the all-division first team for the second consecutive season.
Fincham was a unanimous first-team pick in the Valley Division to highlight four West High players that earned all-division honors.
An honorable mention all-divisional pick last season, the 5-foot-11 Fincham led West High in scoring (15.1), rebounding (6.5) and steals (1.8) and ranked second on the team with 2 assists per game.
Freshman guard Sasha Baldwin was named to the Valley Division second team while senior Lucy Wolf and sophomore Ava Frese were both honorable mention selections for West High.
Baldwin ranked second on the team behind Fincham in scoring (11), rebounds (3.7) and steals (1.3) and was third on the team with 2 assists per game.
Ramsey headlined four Liberty High players to earn all-division honors as she was named to the Mississippi Division first team.
The 5-foot-11 Ramsey led Liberty High with 14.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.6 steals and .6 blocked shots per game.
Ramsey shot 50 percent from the floor, including 37 percent from 3-point range and 80 percent from the free throw line.
Junior Madeline Casey earned second-team all-division honors for the second consecutive season after ranking second on the team with 11.1 points per game.
Casey also averaged 4.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.3 steals and led the Lightning with 45 3-pointers.
Seniors Bella Tafolla and Haley Schroeder each earned honorable mentions honors for Liberty High in the Mississippi Division.
Palmer earned first-team all-division honors for the second straight season after leading City High with 14.5 points, 3.7 assists and 1.8 steals per game.
The 5-foot-10 Palmer shot 36 percent from the floor and 65 percent from the free throw line on her way to earning first-team all-Valley Division honors.
Sophomore Tessa Driscoll was a second-team all-Valley Division pick and freshman Kaitlin Loria and Hattie Galloway each earn honorable mention honors.
Driscoll ranked second on the team with 12.9 points and 3.4 assists per game and ranked third on the team with 1.7 steals per contest.
