Class 3A third-ranked Solon stretched its winning streak to eight and returned to the regional title game for the second consecutive season with an 82-21 win over Davis County on Wednesday in a Region 5 semifinal in Solon.

Solon improved to 20-3 and will face No. 14 Chariton (20-3) in the Region 5 title game on Saturday at 7 p.m.

Chariton advanced to the regional title game with a 53-33 win over Mid-Prairie on Wednesday.

Davis County closed the season 10-13.

Callie Levin led three Solon players in double figures with a game-high 23 points while Hailey Miller added 13 for the Spartans.

Mia Stahle had 10 points, Kobi Lietz had eight points and Laney Johnson had seven points for Solon.

Charley Barnhart led Davis County with six points.
