Regina Junior Miller Named River Valley Conference South Division Player of the Year

Regina rolled through the River Valley Conference regular season schedule going unbeaten against conference competition including a 12-0 mark against South Division teams.
The dominant regular season was followed by Regina dominating the RVC South Division postseason teams.
Regina junior Morgan Miller was named South Division player of the year and Mary Rogers was named coach of the year as Regina had five players earn all-conference honors on Tuesday.
Miller headlined the list of postseason honorees joining senior guard Alli Clark as unanimous first-team selections for the Regals.
The 5-foot-6 Miller led Regina with 19.5 points, 4.1 steals and 3.9 assists per game and also averaged 5 rebounds per contest.
Miller shot 51 percent from the field, 32 percent from 3-point range and 60 percent from the free throw line.
Clark earned first-team honors after averaging 13 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.9 steals per game.
Juniors Caitlin Martin and Ella McLaughlin were each named to the South Division second team.
Martin averaged 9.4 points, a team-high 5.4 rebounds per game and 2.1 assists per game while McLaughlin averaged 11 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.8 steals per game.
Senior Morgan Squiers earned honorable mention honors for Regina.
West Branch seniors Kyle Pickett and Alyse Klinkkammer each earned all-division honors.
Pickett was named to the South Division second team after leading the Bears in scoring at 8.9 points per game to go with 3.6 rebounds sand 1.1 steals per contest.
Klinkkammer earned honorable mention honors.
