Augie Palmer poured in a team-high 27 points and eclipsed the 1,000-point mark for her career while leading City High to an 82-54 win over Cedar Rapids Kennedy on Friday in a Mississippi Valley Conference contest at City High.

City High improved to 7-13 on the season while Cedar Rapids Kennedy dropped to 6-14 with its third consecutive loss.

Palmer led three City High players with at least 20 points as the Little Hawk posted a season-high scoring output.

Freshman Kaitlin Loria had 24 points and sophomore Tessa Driscoll had 20 points for the Little Hawks.

Hattie Galloway added seven points for City High.

Lexi Moore had 22 points for Cedar Rapids Kennedy and Ella Moser had 14 for the Cougars.
