Boys Basketball Roundup: West Branch Wraps Up RVC South Title With Win at Mid-Prairie

West Branch continued its late-season surge and wrapped up the River Valley Conference South Division title on Thursday with a 72-57 win over Mid-Prairie in the regular season finale for both teams in Wellman.
The win was the fourth in a row and seven in the last eight for West Branch and improved the Bears to 16-6 on the season.
West Branch won its final 10 games against RVC South Division teams to finish 11-1 in South Division contests.
Mid-Prairie dropped to 11-9 and 6-6 in RVC play with the loss.
Holden Arnaman had a game-high 24 points, six rebounds and five assists to lead three West Branch players in double figures.
Brennen Dale had 14 points and five rebounds and Cameron Gingerich had 12 points and five rebounds for the Bears.
Reese Trepanier had nine points, 14 rebounds, seven assists and four steals for West Branch.
Brady Weber led Mid-Prairie with 15 points and Bryce Henry had 13 points and six rebounds for the Golden Hawks.
