Liberty High need a few extra minutes but kept its winning streak intact on Tuesday night in Cedar Rapids.

The Lightning got 19 points and seven rebounds from Natalie Ramsey and 12 points and four boards from Kennedy Goodheart in a 48-44 overtime win over Cedar Rapids Jefferson in a Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Division contest in Cedar Rapids.

The win was the fourth straight for Liberty High and improved the Lightning to 9-8 on the season while Cedar Rapids Jefferson dropped to 5-15 with the loss.

Bella Tafolla had six points and three rebounds and Haley Schroeder added four points and five rebounds for the Lightning.

Madeline Casey had four points, four rebounds and two steals for Liberty High.
