Clear Creek Amana continued to clamp down defensively holding an opponent under 20 points for the fourth game in a row in a 69-13 win over Grinnell on Monday in a WAMAC West Division contest in Tiffin.
Class 4A top-ranked Clear Creek Amana has now allowed 37 points or fewer in eight consecutive games and is allowing 23.3 points per game during that stretch.
Clear Creek Amana improved to 19-0 on the season with the win while Grinnell dropped to 5-14 with its fourth loss in a row.
Averie Lower poured in a game-high 30 points to lead the Clippers and Ava Locklear added nine points.
Sam Schrage and Bliss Beck each had eight points for Clear Creek Amana and Kennedy Stratton added five points.
