Regina All-State Receiver Naeve Commits to Iowa Western

One of the premier playmakers in the state will stay in Iowa to start his collegiate football career.
Regina senior wide receiver Jackson Naeve announced his commitment to Iowa Western Community College on Sunday with a post on social media.
“Excited to announce my commitment to Iowa Western,” Naeve wrote on X. “I am blessed to have another opportunity to chase my dreams.”
Naeve emerged as one of the most productive pass catchers in the state this fall earning first-team Class 1A all-state honors after helping Regina to 9-2 record and a state quarterfinal berth.
The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Naeve ranked in the top 11 in Class 1A in receptions, receiving yards, receiving touchdowns, yards per reception and all-purpose yards during his breakthrough senior season.
Naeve ranked 11th in 1A with 41 receptions, was fifth with 11 touchdown receptions, third with 848 receiving yards and second in both yards per reception (20.7) and all-purpose yards (1,777).
A threat all over the field Naeve also rushed for 344 yards and eight touchdowns and threw a touchdown pass.
On special teams Naeve returned two kickoffs and a punt for touchdowns, averaged 29.3 yards per kick off return and 19.9 yards per punt return.
Naeve also led Regina with five interceptions and ranked sixth on the team with 30.5 tackles from his defensive back spot.
A three-year starter, Naeve amassed 81 career receptions for 1,558 yards and 20 touchdowns to go with four return touchdowns, 64 tackles and seven interceptions.
Iowa Western won its second consecutive NJCAA D1 National title in December defeating East Mississippi 61-14 in the title game.
The Reivers have gone 32-4 over the past three seasons while appearing in the NJCAA title game all three seasons.
