Girls Basketball Roundup: Regina Remains Unbeaten in RVC South Play With Win Over Mid-Prairie

Regina overcame an early deficit to down Mid-Prairie 57-39 in a River Valley Conference South Division contest on Friday in Wellman.
Class 2A seventh-ranked Regina trailed by two points and led by just one at the half before breaking open the game with a 19-point third quarter.
Morgan Miller had a game-high 23 points, six assists, five rebounds and four steals as Regina improved to 15-4 on the season and 10-0 RVC South play.
Mid-Prairie dropped to 9-10 on the season and 6-5 in RVC South Division play.
Ella McLaughlin had 15 points and four steals for Regina and Alli Clark had 11 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Caitlin Martin had eight points, six rebounds and three steals for the Regals.
Morgyn Bender led Mid-Prairie with 10 points and Callie Huber had eight points and 11 rebounds for the Golden Hawks.
