Clear Creek Amana remained number one and Solon moved up one spot in the most recent girls basketball rankings released on Wednesday by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.

Solon (15-3) has won three games in a row and moved up one spot from fifth fourth in the Class 3A rankings.

Estherville Lincoln Central (16-2) took over the top spot in the 3A rankings from Mount Vernon (17-2) which dropped to second followed by Des Moines Christian (16-1) and Solon.

Clear Creek Amana (16-0) remained atop the Class 4A rankings for the second week in a row.

The Clippers lead Waverly-Shell Rock (18-0), Sioux City Heelan (15-1), Dallas Center-Grimes (14-3) and North Polk (17-2) in the Class 4A rankings.

Regina (14-4) dropped one spot to seventh in the Class 2A rankings.

Other top-ranked teams this week are Johnston in Class 5A, Dike-New Hartford in Class 2A and North Linn in Class 1A.
