West High fell to No. 13 Cedar Rapids Prairie 43-25 on Tuesday in the first round of a Class 3A regional dual at Bettendorf.
No. 19 West High won five matches in the opening-round loss with the Trojans collecting three pins.
Third-ranked Bettendorf defeated Cedar Rapids Prairie 57-13 in the final to advance to the state dual meet.
Top-ranked Alexander Pierce had a pin for West High at 120 pounds, Justin Avila won by fall at 150 and Kyler Scranton had a first-period pin for the Trojans at 190.
Matthew Tran added a 16-8 major decision at 126 pounds and Randale Kelly won a 7-5 decision at 285 for the Trojans.
