Boys Basketball Roundup: Freshly Ranked Regina Keeps Right on Rolling With Win at Tipton

Freshly ranked Regina didn’t skip a beat on Tuesday pushing its winning streak to 13 with a 71-32 win over Tipton in a River Valley South Division contest in Tipton.
Regina made its season debut at No. 10 in the Class 2A rankings this week and followed up a win over previously third-ranked and unbeaten Monticello with its second win this season over the Tigers.
Regina improved to 13-2 on the season and moved to 8-0 in RVC South Division action with the win while Tipton dropped to 5-8 and 1-6 in RVC play.
The Regals shot 68 percent from the field and had three players in double figures led by Michael Martin with 22 points.
Martin made eight of nine field goals on Tuesday including 3-of-4 3-pointers on his way to his game-high 22 points.
Tate Wallace had 15 points, five assists and three rebounds and Will Litton had 12 points and four rebounds.
Eddie Petersen had six points, 11 assists and seven rebounds and Drew Streb had six points and five rebounds for Regina.
Preston Daedlow had 11 points to lead Tipton.
