Class 4A No. 2 Clear Creek Amana continued its trend of suffocating defense while staying unbeaten on the season with a 68-16 win over Vinton-Shellsburg in a WAMAC West Division contest on Tuesday in Tiffin.
Clear Creek Amana improved to 14-0 on the season while holding a fourth consecutive opponent under 30 points.
Vinton-Shellsburg dropped to 5-10 on the season with the loss.
Lena Evans led four Clear Creek Amana players in double figures with a game-high 14 points while Ava Locklear added 13 points for the Clippers.
Averie Lower had 11 points, Kennedy Stratton had 10 and Bliss Beck added nine for Clear Creek Amana.
Addy Phippen had five points to lead Vinton-Shellsburg.
