Class 3A top-ranked Solon fell to 4A No. 10 Marion 48-45 on Tuesday in a WAMAC East Division top-10 matchup in Marion.

Solon dropped to 12-3 on the season with the loss while Marion avenged a 60-32 loss to the Spartans on December 15 in Solon and improved to 12-4 on the season.

Callie Levin had a game-high 28 points and scored all 19 of the Spartans second-half points.

Hailey Miller had seven points and Kobi Lietz and Mia Stahle each had five for the Spartans.

Anna Quillin had 14 rebounds for Solon.

Mila Van Weelden had 16 points, Harlow Griffin had 13 and Madeline Pavelka had eight points for Marion.

Natalie McAllister added six points for the Wolves.
