Liberty High defeated Dubuque Senior 53-25 on Thursday in a Mississippi Valley Conference dual meet in Dubuque.

The Lightning had six pins among nine wins on Thursday collecting bonus points in all nine of its victories.

Benjamin Rosen (113), Tien Pham (144), Gavin Benton (175), Ethan Barber (190), Vincenzo Lima (215) and Blake DuBois (285) all had pins for the Lightning.

Landon Bell (165) and Connor McGonegle (106) won by forfeit and Pryor Reiners won a 19-4 tech fall at 132 pounds.
