Girls Basketball Roundup: Eighth-ranked Cedar Falls Downs City High

City High fell to Class 5A eighth-ranked Cedar Falls 57-30 on Tuesday in its first game of the new year.
The Little Hawks dropped to 3-7 with the loss while Cedar Falls improved to 11-1 with its ninth straight win.
Emmy McComas had 11 points to lead City High and Tessa Driscoll added 10 points for the Little Hawks.
Grace Knutson had a game-high 29 points, seven rebounds, six steals and three assists to pace Cedar Falls.
Karis Finley had 12 points and five steals and Grace Hannam had three points and 15 rebounds for the Tigers.
