Girls Basketball Roundup: Top-ranked Solon Rolls Past South Tama

Class 3A top-ranked Solon rolled to an 86-16 win over South Tama on Thursday in a WAMAC Conference cross-divisional contest in Tama.
Solon improved to 11-1 on the season with its fifth consecutive win while South Tama dropped to 0-11.
Callie Levin had a game-high 24 points to lead Solon while Hailey Miller added 12 points for the Spartans.
Mia Stahle had 10 points, Kobie Lietz had nine and Laney Johnson and Laeni Hinkle each had six points for Solon.
Delainey Durr and Anna Quillin each had five points.
Kayla Heck led South Tama with eight points.
